To commemorate ¬†ANZAC Day, we read the books ‘Oh no Donkey!’ and ‘The Red Poppy’. They were both very different books and made us feel very different, even though they were both about ANZAC Day.

Helen brought in a very special photo album, full of photos that her Uncle Jim took around the time of the wars. We were very lucky to be able to look at these photos and ask Helen questions about her Uncle.

We also participated in an ANZAC Day Ceremony, led by the Grade Sixes at our school, to celebrate ANZAC Day and pay our respects.
